MERIDEN – Police in Meriden have released surveillance video of the man suspected of shooting three people at a bar early Sunday morning. Police say he should be considered armed and dangerous.

“In the video it looks as though he is arguing with somebody. It’s clear he is holding a pistol,” explained Sgt. Christopher Fry of the Meriden Police Department.

Police responded to Noiise Sports Bar on Lewis Avenue before 2 a.m. Sunday after multiple 911 callers reported shots fired. Two off-duty officers parked less than 100 yards away at the time also heard the sound of gunshots.

Three victims--two men and a woman--were found inside the bar with serious gunshot injuries. One of the men was taken to the hospital by LifeStar, while the other was taken in an ambulance to a trauma hospital. The woman sustained a single gunshot to the leg and was treated at an area hospital. Police say a fourth person was also injured in the argument that preceded the gunfire.

Anyone with information about the shooting or the man in the surveillance video is asked to contact Detective Wagner at the Ansonia Police Department at 203-630-6334 or jwagner@meridenct.gov.
