HARTFORD - On Sunday in Connecticut, the CTfastrak route didn't just have buses on it -  there were also hundreds of runners!

The CTfastrak 15K and Relay featured a point-to-point 15 kilometer (9.3 miles) course.

Participation was open for solo runners who wanted to tackle the whole thing, and relay teams, who wanted to split the distance into two or three legs.

The race started in the downtown New Britain station of CTfastrak and finished on Allyn Street in downtown Hartford.

Bus service was re-routed during this event so runners could explore and enjoy the new bus-only road in a unique way.

After the race, runners were able to celebrate with southern comfort food at Black Eyed Sally's restaurant.

The second annual race was hosted by the Hartford Marathon Foundation.
