HARTFORD - The influence of the upcoming Connecticut primaries on the race for the White House is the discussion of this segment of The Real Story. The primaries come relatively late in the schedule, and they are getting more attention due to the current status of the fight for delegates.

Thousands gathered in Hartford on Friday to both to support and protest presidential candidate Donald Trump, who made a campaign stop at the Hartford Convention Center about a week and a half before Connecticut holds its primary elections, and a week after John Kasich was here.

Al and Jenn discuss with their guests Bill Curry, columnist at Salon.com and Gary Rose, professor of political science at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield.
