Skydiver injured at Danielson airport

DANIELSON — State Police in Danielson responded to the airport Monday afternoon after a skydiver was injured. The incident happened around 12:45 p.m., according to State Police.

The small airport is located in the Dayville section of town and operated by the Connecticut Airport Authority.

The skydiver had a “hard landing” and broke a leg. The skydiver was taken to Day Kimball Hospital in Plainfield to be treated.
