MERIDEN -- Two people were shot early Wednesday and police are looking for the suspects.
Police were called to 27 Randolph Ave. around 12:30 a.m. They said two men were sitting in a Honda when another car pulled up beside them and the occupants fired shots before taking off. The men left the car and moved to a nearby home where they were found by police.
The two men, age 23 and 27, were taken to the hospital. One was taken by Lifestar to a trauma facility and the other was treated and released
There was no description of the suspects or the vehicle released. Randolph Avenue was shut down by police for the investigation as police gathered shell casings to determine how many shots were fired in the incident.
