HARTFORD -- In the United States 90 percent of people say they support donation but only 30 percent know the necessary steps to take, to become an organ donor.
This weekend's Blue Green walk/run benefiting Life Choice Donor Services a non-profit the facilitates organ donations in the Hartford area honor donors and recipients. It also celebrate the importance of organ, tissue and eye donations. and its surrounding counties.
Caitlyn Bernabucci, Organ Donation Educator and Beth Bradly, who received a heart transplant, joined FOX 61 Good Day Connecticut to talk about the event.
