STORRS -- Join UConn football coaches, head coach Bob Diaco, and players for a fun and exciting night learning the ins-and-outs of America's greatest game - Football! It's the 3rd annual Women's 101 Clinic. Participants will enjoy a cocktail hour, shopping, a silent auction and a meet-and-greet before taking the field with the team for light drills and on-field fun.
This event is for women only and participants must be 21 or over to register. The registration cost is $45 ($35 for early registration up until May 20) which includes a jersey, food, a souvenir item and two tickets to a Husky home game this fall. Proceeds will benefit UConn Health-Women's Cancer Prevention & Research.
It's set for Wednesday, June 8 at The Burton Family Football Complex and the Mark R. Shenkman Training Center, located at 505 Jim Calhoun Way in Storrs.
- 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. - Registration and Cocktail Hour (cash bar)
- 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Clinic (drills and stations)
- $35 per person Early Registration Fee (May 20 deadline)
- $45 per person (May 20 - June 3)
All participants are asked to wear athletic clothing and shoes to the clinic.
