Pet of the Week – Allie and Onyx

This is an archived article and the information in the article may be outdated. Please look at the time stamp on the story to see when it was last updated.

Allie and Onyx are four-month-old kittens and they're looking for a new home! They are the remaining two of three sisters in their litter. They were rescued from Hartford, with the mother who is friendly.

Allie is light black in color, looks chocolate in the sun. She is the quieter one, prefers to be held and have human contact. She’s a purring machine.

Onyx is darker black, with a gorgeous fluffy tail. She is the more playful one, and likes to carry her “prey” in her mouth. Onyx also loves people and attention.

Both are used to being around other cats and older kids.

And remember the 3rd Annual Kitten Shower, which will be at the Pet Supplies Plus on The Silas Deane Hwy in Wethersfield, May 1, from 12 - 4 p.m.  There will be "kitten made" art/cards for sale, kittens to view , volunteers on hand to talk about fostering and adoption and snacks. They will have lists of items needed during this busy time of year that people can purchase right in the store.
