HARTFORD - Some city streets were not passable Thursday afternoon while crews responded to a significant water main break in Hartford.
The break impacted Capitol Avenue between Park Terrace and Laurel Street. Street closures were creating a commuting nightmare. The break was repaired and the road reopened.
According to MDC, the water company in Hartford that controls the main, it was a 12-inch break. The main was shut down, but no customers were impacted by the shutdown.
