HARTFORD - State lawmakers are close to closing a $900 million deficit for the next fiscal year - that is the good news. The bad news is that a $2 billion deficit is projected for the next fiscal year: 2017-18.

There is no doubt that these are tough economic times for the state of Connecticut, no question, the state must change the way it conducts business.

Stan continues the conversation about whether or not there is a remedy for Connecticut's ongoing financial crisis – and if there is the political will to do what needs to be done to fix it.

Stan goes over Connecticut's financial crisis from his guests Joe Brennan, president/CEO of the Connecticut Business and Industry Association, and Greg Bordonaro, editor of The Hartford Business Journal.
