SHELTON – Police are asking for the public’s help in finding the person responsible for a fatal hit-and-run crash in Shelton that occurred on Wednesday night.
Around 8:40 p.m. Shelton Police received several 911 calls that a pedestrian had been hit at the intersection of Howe Avenue and Hill Street, and that the car had driven off.
The victim was found unconscious in the roadway and was taken to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
She has been identified as Teresa Glossy, 54, of Shelton.
Police have not provided a description of the suspect or vehicle.
