Winners of the MAAC lacrosse conference championship the Quinnipiac Bobcats hosted the schools first ever appearance in the NCAA tournament. They would face a familiar foe the University of Hartford Hawks, the last two times these teams faced it was decided in overtime. Bobcats did not let this one get that close. Quinnipiac won 14-9 capturing the schools first NCAA tournament victory and earning the chance to face #1 ranked Maryland Terps on Sunday.
