BRADENTON, FL — Authorities have found a missing child and her mother after issuing an alert for their whereabouts.
The Florida woman had an argument with her family and took off with her child, headed to Connecticut.
Police were called to a home in Bradenton, on the west coast of Florida, and learned that Susan Knight had an argument with other family members and drove away in her vehicle at a high rate of speed almost hitting another family member as she drove away.
The Florida Department of Law Enforcement issued the missing child alert.
Police told the Bradenton Herald that she and her daughter Emma Mischaud were seen in Georgia late Wednesday.
Both were found in Enfield in fine condition Thursday morning, and are not in custody.
Enfield Police said they got an anonymous call about their location.
