BRIDGEPORT–Police are investigating the discovery of a dead body, though they say they do not believe the death was suspicious.
On Friday, a local business owner found human remains in a cement pipe at a construction site near Marina Village in Bridgeport, according to Av Harris, a spokesman for the city of Bridgeport.
The pipe is one of many that has recently been delivered to the area.
Police say that homeless people have been known to frequent the area, and may have been sleeping around there.
Police have made a tentative identification but are waiting to notify next-of-kin before releasing the victim’s name.
