UConn Husky Anthony Kay is attracting a lot of attention from pro baseball scouts. The junior left-handed pitcher from Stony Brook, New York, currently sports a 6-2 record with a 2.46 ERA.

Anthony Kay said, “I’m trying to be an ace here. I’m trying to lead by example and I think that's what I’m doing.”

Kay realizes every time he takes the mound the MLB eyes and radar guns are focused on him, but he has learned to push it from his focus.

“It’s kinda just a mental thing. You just about pitching and it will zone it’s self out.”

Although the left-handed slinger will be taking his game to the big leagues, right now he is concentrating on getting the Huskies to the post season.
