New Haven body investigation

NEW HAVEN – Police have concluded that the death of a 22-year-old woman was a homicide.

Just before 6 p.m. on Thursday, police were called to an apartment on Daisy Street after relatives went into the apartment and found Kwasiada Robinson dead.

Robinson’s body was removed by investigators from the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner and they performed an autopsy on her on Friday morning. It was determined that she was strangled to death.

Police believe that her boyfriend, Jerome Reddick, 38, was the person responsible. Reddick was found dead around noon on Thursday after he hung himself from a tree in Saint Bernard Cemetery. The two had been in a turbulent relationship and had lived together for several years. His address was on Ellsworth Avenue.

Reddick had been wanted in connection to a second-degree assault in 2014 involving Robinson.

Police are still investigating but Reddick is the main suspect at this time.
