Motorcyclists Ride In Memory Of Officer Aselton

EAST HARTFORD – The 18th Annual Officer Brian A. Aselton Memorial Motorcycle Run will take place be on Sunday, rain or shine.

All friends and supporters of law enforcement on all makes of bikes are welcome.

Registration will be from 8:00-9:45 a.m. at Gengras Harley-Davidson on 221 Governor Street in East Hartford. T-shirts and other memorial items will be available for a donation. The ride will start at 10 a.m.

A donation of $20 per bike and $5 per passenger, which includes coffee and donuts from Dunkin’ Donuts, and lunch, is requested.

The ride will finish at Knights of Columbus on 1831 Main Street in East Hartford, with lunch, music, and a raffle with various items from sponsors.

All proceeds benefit the Officer Brian A. Aselton Memorial Scholarship Fund, Inc.

The route is as follows:
Upon exiting Gengras Harley-Davidson the run will follow CT Blvd. to Main St., turn left on Main St. into South Windsor, right on Route 30, left on Route 194 (Sullivan Ave.), right on Graham Road into East Windsor, straight on Miller Road, right on Wapping Road which turns into Thrall Road, right on Middle Road into Ellington, left on Pinney Street which turns into Tomoka Avenue, left on Route 140(Sadds Mill Rd.) into East Windsor, left on Route 5 into South Windsor,
right on Sullivan Ave., left on Main St. into East Hartford to the Knights of Columbus.
