HARTFORD — Beating last year’s total, Dunkin’ Donuts raised $140,000 for Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital with last month’s Iced Coffee Day promotion.
The company said the money would be evenly divided between the two hospitals.
A check will be presented on Wednesday.
Dunkin’ Donuts donated $1 from every iced coffee sold May 25 to Connecticut Children’s Medical Center and Yale-New Haven Children’s Hospital. Dunkin’ Donuts restaurants in Connecticut, except the locations in Fairfield County participated in the promotion.
Last year, $110,000 was raised and divided evenly between the two children’s hospitals. Over the years, over $1 million has been raised for the hospitals.
