BRISTOL — For a Bristol couple, Friday, June 10 was supposed to be the happiest day of their lives. Instead, Brittain Gagnon and Alex Gardner will be spending yet another night in the hospital.
Monday, just days before they were supposed to get married, Gardner suffered serious injuries during a work-related accident.
The couple is losing thousands of dollars, having to postpone their wedding and honeymoon. But bride-to-be Brittain is remaining positive.
“Money can’t replace his life, so what ever happens with the wedding… I’m ok with because I’d rather reschedule, than cancel,” she wrote on Facebook. “My fiance is alive, and last night, I wasn’t sure of that.”
Now, Susan is trying to help Brittain and Gardner recoup some of the money lost, so when they are ready to get married, they can have the day of their dreams.
“Let’s help them unite in marriage and give these kids a great wedding. They deserve a beautiful day,” she said.
