AGAWAM, Mass. - An out-of-this-world way to experience a roller coaster has arrived.
Suspense was building outside Six Flags New England as Superman, the Ride, made an early arrival at Six Flags New England in Agawam Thursday.
The roller coaster is equipped to allow riders to wear Samsung Gear VR headsets to customize their ride experience.
"Now, VR lets you see the epic battle between Lex Luthor and Superman while you`re riding the ride," said Nick DiCarlo of Samsung.
When you combine that with one the world's fastest rollercoasters, you get a new kind of experience.
The ride officially opens Saturday but a lucky few got an early ride.
