OLD LYME — Trains between New London and New Haven were delayed for a time Tuesday morning due to a fire on the tracks.
Emergency crews responded to the fire around 6 a.m. on the Old Lyme side of the Connecticut River Railroad Bridge near the Old Saybrook train station.
Shoreline East were experiencing minor delays and Amtrak trains were back on schedule.
