McHENRY, Ill. — A McHenry gun shop is holding a raffle for victims of the Orlando massacre, and the grand prize is an assault rifle.

Second Amendment Sports is a new business in McHenry, Illinois, a town about an hour and a half northwest of Chicago. It plans to raffle off a Smith & Wesson MP-15.

The prize rifle similar to the gun that killed 49 and wounded dozens more in the nightclub attack, according to WGN TV.

Bert Irslinger Jr. and his father own the gun shop and they've come up with a unique way to support the victims who are alive and the families of those who perished in the worst mass shooting in U.S. history.

“We’re looking to support the victims, the families and the survivors of this act,” Irslinger Jr said. “How we do that, is in our own way.”

The business will make a base donation of $2,000 to the OneOrlando Fund and then sell $5 raffle tickets at their location and several other businesses throughout the area.

“For our industry, this isn’t weird,” Irslinger Jr said. “It’s a normal product. It’s bought every day buy Americans across the United States.”

The drawing will be held at Second Amendment sports on July 31.
