NEW LONDON – Police said a man died of a drug overdose Saturday night.
They said a Evan G. Hill, 56, of 50 Maple Avenue was found unconscious at his home just before 7:30 p.m.
Police said they the fire department administered NARCAN and attempted to revive Hill.
Hill was taken to L&M Hospital by the fire department and other attempts were made at the hospital.
Hill was pronounced dead shortly afterwards and his family was notified by police.
Evidence was seized by police on scene and further investigation is continuing.
