HARTFORD - Timing and preparation is everything in life, and in sports it is paramount.
Hartford native and Weaver High School grad Mike Anderson had that preparation when he was drafted by the Toronto Raptors for the NBA D league last summer.
Unfortunately, his timing was off, and he suffered a recent knee injury, benching him as he recovered.
But he didn’t let that set back stop him. After playing overseas, Anderson is back in his hometown playing in the Greater Hartford Pro Am, getting ready and preparing for whatever opportunity comes his way in the coming seasons.
