BRISTOL -- Muzzy Field in Bristol has been the site for some great baseball for over 100 years, including the AA Bristol Red Sox in the '70s and '80s, going all the way back to the late' 40s with the Bristol Owls in the Colonial League.

Now, the next generation of potential superstars are coming up in the ballpark playing for the Bristol Blues as part of the Futures Collegiate Baseball League.

The Futures is a wooden-bat league for college players that still have eligibility, and even some talented high school who graduated this spring have a chance to play.

The team, only in its second season, already has a loyal fan base and doesn’t disappoint once they take the field.
