HARTFORD — Friday is going to be hot, hot, hot, so why not cool off with a chilly treat?
Uber is delivering free ice cream Friday in Fairfield, Hartford, New Haven, and New London counties.
Here’s how it works:
- Open your Uber app from 11 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Friday, July 15
- Tap the ‘Ice Cream’ icon on slider at the bottom of the app
- Set your location and tap ‘REQUEST’
- If a car is available, you’ll be indulging in 4 free ice cream bars in minutes
Uber drivers in Fairfield County are making the deal even sweeter. Delivery vehicles will include vintage race cars and convertibles. In Darien, a firetruck will be delivering ice cream.
