DALLAS - With an overall record of 7-16 the Connecticut Sun have not had the turnaround season that first year head coach Curt Miller had hoped for.

If you ask the coach or the players, they have turned a corner in their last few games, including a win Wednesday in Dallas against the Wings.

“There is a really positive vibe in that locker room. There is a belief, a good swagger, right now” Miller said of his squad.

Friday night the Sun took first place team Los Angeles Sparks to overtime before just coming up short of the victory. That effort was a result of the team's progression since the beginning of the season.

“Our record does not indicate how hard we fight and how hard we play," said Chiney Ogwumike. "People are starting to get that this is a different team that started the year.”
