HARTFORD - The Republicans had an interesting week in the presidential spotlight and now it is the Democratic's turn, as they gear up for their national convention in Philadelphia. Stan looks ahead to the Democratic Convention with Al Simon, a Democrat delegate from Windsor. This supporter of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders will give his perspective on what the Dems and Hillary Clinton need to do in Philly to “Trump” the Republican choice for president.
Democrats are making the argument that they are uniting behind Clinton following a bruising primary against Sanders. He is among the keynote speakers at the four-day convention that begins Monday and runs through Thursday.
