ENFIELD – A Bloomfield man was arrested for driving drunk the wrong way on Interstate-91 early Sunday morning.
Connecticut State Police arrested Earl Davis, 45, of Bloomfield, on Sunday at around 3:30 a.m. and charged him with reckless driving, driving while under the influence of alcohol or drugs and driving the wrong way on a divided highway.
Police said Davis was pulled him over for driving south in the northbound lanes near exit 46 on I-91 in Enfield. Police said Davis appeared drunk and failed field sobriety tests.
He was released on a $1,000 bond and is due to appear in Enfield Superior Court on August 9.
