NEWINGTON — Police arrested a homeless man in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile between September 2015 to July 2016.
Newington with the help of East Hartford Police, arrested Michael Pittman, 52, of no certain address, on July 22. They charged him with four counts sexual assault in the first degree, and impairing the morals of a child.
Police said Pittman is reported to be homeless, and was found by police in East Hartford. The alleged assaults involved a minor and happened at a motel on the Berlin Turnpike in Newington between September 10, 2015 and July 11, 2016.
Pittman was held on a bond of $750,000 and is scheduled to appear in New Britain court on Monday.
