HARTFORD — A report of shots fired led to the arrest of a man on gun and drug charges Thursday night.
According to Hartford Police, Shot Spotter reported seven gunshots in the area of 146 Mather St. around 10:30 p.m. Responding officers found spent shell casings when they responded. After locating video surveillance footage from the scene, detectives recognized the man in footage at the time of the shooting as Felix Tosado.
Police arrested Tosado, 18, and charged him with unlawful discharge of a firearm, criminal possession of a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit, possession narcotics, possession with intent to sell narcotics, possession with intent to sell narcotics within 1500′ School, and operating a drug factory.
He is scheduled to appear in court Friday.
