HARTFORD - The Greater Hartford Pro-Am was back in action Saturday night with another double-header.

The first game between the Red Squad and Hoopwave started late but heated up fast. Windsor grad Steve Samuels ended with a team high 28 points. Not to be outdone,  ex-Huskie AJ Price chipped in a game high 39 as Red Squad pulled away at the end 101-90.

The game two final score between Cambyland and Simoniz Top Dogs was 116-115 and the action was a close as that score would indicate. The teams traded the lead several times in both halves. The action was end to end and was punctuated by a monster dunk by Joe Kasperzyk a senior at Hillhouse High School. Cambyland finally pulled out in front with less than two minutes to go and had just enough to stay out in front despite a last second three pointer from Top Dogs.
