CROMWELL - Always a crowd pleaser at the Travelers Championship, the stars aligned for the celebrity pro-am.

Actors, like Luke Wilson and Kevin Nealon, musicians, like The Voice champion Javier Colon, and former professional athletes, like Doug Flutie and Tim Wakefield, teed off this year.

They, and  the actual pros competing this week, made the most recognizable foursome on the course Wednesday.

Several of the same celebrities have played in the pro-am before, but it was a first for actor Dane DeHaan.

So, of course, Kevin Nealon had some tips for him, quoting his character in "Happy Gilmore."

"Stay on track baby, you know what I'm saying?" Nealon said with a straight face.  "You got to feel the flow. You got to harness the good, and block the bad. I've always said that. People don't listen."

To add some flavor to the tough course, a carving station served a first course of Bear's Smokehouse Barbecue at the first tee.
