WINDHAM–A teen has been arrested for several charges, including threatening to blow up a courthouse.
On Tuesday, State Police attempted to serve a 16-year-old male with two juvenile summons on unrelated criminal matters. While issuing the summons, the teen asked if he could have “9/11” as his court date. He said he wanted that date so he could go to court and “Blow the f****** court up.”
He was issued an additional summons for threatening in the second degree and breach of peace in the second degree.
Authorities at the Wilimantic Juvenile Court were notified of the verbal threat and will take preventative measures.
