Montville police seize drugs and cash

MONTVILLE – Police seized drugs and cash Wednesday in a raid on a Chapel Hill Road house.

Montville police said they, along with Connecticut State Police, executed a search and seizure warrant at 56 Chapel Hill Road in the Oakdale section of Montville,

They said they found around 112 bags of heroin, 6 ounces of marijuana, a small amount of cocaine, $1,041 in cash and drug paraphernalia.

Police arrested Phillip Taylor, 23, who lived at the home. Taylor was charged with possession of narcotics, possession of narcotics with intent to sell, possession of marijuana, possession of marijuana with intent to sell, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Taylor was later released on $10,000 bail and is scheduled to appear at the Norwich Superior Courthouse on Thursday, August 25.
