WATERBURY — Police in Waterbury are investigating after four people were shot outside of a bar early Thursday morning.
Police were called to East Main and Cherry Street around 1 a.m. A large group of people were fighting outside of the Illusions Bar, police said.
As officers arrived, someone fired multiple gunshots into the crowd, according to a statement from Deputy Chief Fernadno Spagnolo. Four people were hit.
All of the victims were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital. One person is listed in critical condition, the other three are in stable condition.
