WATERTOWN -- From classic to over-the-top, Hardcore Sweet Cupcakes has a taste for everyone.
While this out-of-the-box bakery uses plenty of chocolate and vanilla, its claim to fame is the unique concoctions made daily out of the shop in the Oakville section of Watertown.
More than 150 different flavors are rotated on the menu which include a variety of made-from-scratch ingredients and then some are even infused with alcohol, like a peanut butter vodka for adults to enjoy.
Winners of Cupcake Wars on the Food Network, owners and creators Jeremy and Nicole Braddock use their hardcore punk roots as motivation for their sweet treats.
"I use to be in a band," said a tattooed Jeremy Braddock. "A lot of the cupcakes are named after different groups, both well known and local, so it's a way to honor my past and honor others while enjoying a flavorful cupcake."
So if you want just one cupcake or custom desserts, Hardcore Sweet can oblige for weddings, parties and corporate outings.
