EAST HAVEN–An accident on Wednesday left one person with serious injuries.
Police said a 48-year-old bicyclist was seriously injured when he was hit by a car driven by a 23-year-old. The accident occurred on Forbes Place in East Haven at 4:15 p.m. The victim had serious injuries and was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital.
No word on if charges will be filed.
The accident is under investigation by the South Central Connecticut Traffic Unit. Anyone who may have witnessed the accident or has any information is asked to please contact Officer Consolati at (203) 468-3820.
