MANCHESTER — Police arrested two adults and a juvenile after an attempted car break in early Thursday morning.

Police said they received a call from a resident in the area of Ridge and Arch Streets who was sitting on their porch around 1:30 a.m. and heard a car alarm go off. They saw three people walking away from the area. The resident followed the three people and called police. The suspects confronted the resident and who returned home a waited for police.

Police said they were able to catch the suspects after a series of foot chases. Police said there had been numerous thefts from unlocked cars from the area.

Manchester police arrested Dwight Henry, 18, of Hartford,  Luis Miguel Rivera 25, of Hartford and a 16-year-old boy from Manchester.

All three individuals were charged with criminal trespass 1st degree, breach of peace, interfering with police, criminal liability for the act of another and criminal attempt to commit larceny in the 6th degree.

Rivera and Henry were held on a $25,000 bond and scheduled to appear in court on September 15.  The juvenile was issued a juvenile summons and released to his mother.
