HARTFORD — Metropolitan District Commission crews are repairing a broken water main in the city’s South End Thursday morning.
The eight inch main broke in the area of 20 Redding St. MDC officials said the main was installed in 1928.
Five multi-family homes and one business were affected.
The street is closed in the area.
Crews expect the main to be repaired by 9 a.m.
