HARTFORD -- Bubba is a 7-year-old Chihuahua mix who is a sweet, affectionate little love bug.
His physical aspects are endearing, and make him unique and special.
Bubba is tiny like a Chihuahua, but barrel chested and a little bit scruffy. A perfect misfit, pardon the oxymoron.
We rescued him from one of our vet partners. He was surrendered with his partner, Missy, another Chihuahua, for being vicious, but other than some shyness, we’ve only ever seen great behavior from him.
He’ll occasionally bark at other pooches, but really wants to be friends. He’s a real snuggle bug, and wants to be pet and cuddled.
The best home would be with someone with a slow, laid back lifestyle who wants a companion, but not a high energy or large dog.
Be ready to have an extra shadow. He’ll follow you everywhere, and will want to be with you constantly.
Bubba would probably not good for a home with kids, only because of what we were told about is history (which may or may not be true).
