SHELTON–Months after a man was killed while bicycling in Shelton, a man has been arrested.
Police say that on December 23, 2015 a 55-year-old was bicycling around 7:34 a.m. near 504 Bridgeport Avenue when he was hit by a car. The driver left the scene, and an investigation ensued to find the person responsible.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries, but the victim, Brian Climis, of Ansonia, died from his injuries later that day.
Police investigated the crash and spoke to witnesses, and on September 2 arrested Ryder Kinssley, 36, of New Haven.
Kinsley turned himself in to police Friday, and has been charged with negligent homicide with a motor vehicle and evading responsibility. Bond was set at $100,000
