Groton man busted for drugs and dangerous weapons

GROTON – A Groton man was arrested Wednesday.

A regional police task force arrested Isaac Parham, 51, of Groton, and charged him with selling heroin.

He also faces two counts of carrying a dangerous weapon.

Police said his arrest comes after an investigation into the sale of heroin throughout southeastern Connecticut.

Parham is currently being held on $100,000 bail and is due in court on Thursday.

The Regional Community Enhancement Task Force that made the arrest is comprised of detectives and police officers from southeastern Connecticut that was formed to combat the heroin epidemic in that area and to improve the quality of life for citizens.
