BRIDGEPORT — Police are investigating after a male victim was shot in the back while riding a bicycle in Bridgeport.
The unidentified 33-year-old male victim was shot near the intersection of Maple and Kossuth streets at about 9:30 p.m. Wednesday.
The victim was taken to Bridgeport Hospital with injuries not believed to be life-threatening.
Police tell FOX 61 the victim wasn’t able to give any information on the person who shot him, and police couldn’t find a crime scene. However, police say it’s possible he was shot at another location and then kept biking to the point police found him.
