Huskies to play 7 games each in Storrs and Hartford

STORRS — The UConn men’s basketball team will split its home schedule this season between the on-campus Gampel Pavilion and the XL Center in Hartford.

The school released the 30-game regular season schedule Thursday. It includes 14 home games, 12 on the road, and four at neutral sites, with a November appearance at the Maui Invitational in Hawaii.

The Huskies open the season on campus with a Nov. 11 game against Wagner College. The team’s first game in Hartford will be Nov. 30 against Boston University.

The non-conference schedule includes a Dec. 5 game at New York’s Madison Square Garden against former Big East rival Syracuse and a Jan. 14 road game against Georgetown.

The Huskies open their 18-game American Athletic Conference schedule on Dec. 28 at the XL Center against Houston
