HARTFORD – One person is dead after a crash on Park Street.
Police say the car was traveling at a high rate of speed around 5 a.m. when it went off the road and crashed into a support pillar for the I-84 west overpass.
The driver was identified as John Samnath, 24, of Hartford. He was pronounced dead on the scene by paramedics. Hartford Police and Crime Scene Detectives arrived on the scene and assisted with the vehicle and processed the scene.
No other injuries were reported, and only one vehicle was involved.
