According to witnesses, Julian-Trombley and another driver were racing down I-395 in Killingly when the second car veered into her lane. The maneuver caused her to over-correct and lose control of her vehicle, police said.

Troopers said a blue or dark gray four door sedan, possibly an Acura or Honda was involved in the crash.

A passenger in Julian-Trombley’s car was also injured.
