BRIDGEPORT — A Redding woman has admitted to stealing more than $250,000 from her employer.
U.S. Attorney Deirdre Daly said 48-year-old Lisa Landman, of Redding, pleaded guilty Monday in federal court in Bridgeport to one count of wire fraud.
Prosecutors said Landman authorized at least 33 wire transfers from her company’s business bank account into her personal credit card account between November 2010 and November 2013.
Prosecutors said Landman used the funds for personal purchases including jewelry, clothing, vacations, spa treatments, fitness equipment and entertainment tickets.
A sentencing date hasn’t yet been scheduled. Landman faces a maximum term of 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
