MIDDLETOWN — Route 9 northbound was closed between exits 11 and 12 in Middletown Tuesday afternoon because of a tractor trailer accident, according to the Department of Transportation. A tractor trailer collided with three other cars.
Minor injuries were reported, State Police said, but it’s not clear which driver had the injuries. The crash was reported around 2:30 p.m. The road reopened but traffic remained in the area for hours.
