HARTFORD - A fire destroyed a vacant building early Tuesday morning in the frog hollow section of Hartford.

The Hartford Fire Department responded to the two-alarm fire at a the three-story multi-family house on 159-161 Babcock Street.

The fire broke out shortly after 1:15 a.m. and heavy fire was blowing out of the second and third floor windows and porches, so the HFD said they went to defensive operations.

By sunrise, the fire was largely knocked down, with some partial collapse of the roof.

No injuries have been reported as a result of the fire.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
